Electric
Spring 2020
Omaha Fashion Week
In the fall of 2019, I applied to showcase my collection at Omaha Fashion Week for the Spring 2020 season. I was grateful to be selected to take part in an organization which helps emerging designers have their collections seen on a runway; helping with the financial burden of compensating models, make-up artists, hair stylists, and DJs. The collection Electric started as a project for my illustration class at London College of Fashion during the summer of 2019. I was originally inspired by the vibrancy of the city during the summer, graffiti, and streetwear. The collection evolved during my senior year of college where I explored digital printing, effortless tailoring, and the vibrancy of color. This collection was all about taking risks and stepping out of my comfort zone. All art, make-up, hair, and garments were created, sewn, and chosen by me.
